The House of Representatives will not prioritize any impeachment complaint against President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., according to House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III.
In an interview, Dy said that the nation is currently facing numerous challenges that require immediate attention and collective action.
His remarks came after reports surfaced on social media claiming that Cavite 4th District Representative Kiko Barzaga was planning to file an impeachment complaint against the President.
Dy clarified that no such complaint has been filed, and the House is presently focused on more urgent and substantive matters.
Dapat unahin po natin muna ‘yun bigyan ng solusyon,” he said.
The Speaker assured the public that under his leadership, the House of Representatives will continue to prioritize policy measures that uplift farmers, strengthen food security, promote accountability, and deliver tangible results for Filipinos.
