TRUMP THREATENS “COMPLETE DEMOLITION” OF IRAN IF CEASEFIRE REJECTED

U.S. President Donald Trump threatened Iran with what he described as a “complete demolition” if the country refuses to accept a ceasefire and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump set a deadline of 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday (8 a.m. Wednesday in the Philippines), warning that U.S. forces could target bridges and power plants in Iran if compliance is not met.

“We have a plan, because of the power of our military. Where every bridge in Iran will be decimated by 12 o’clock tomorrow night, where every power plant in Iran will be out of business, burning, exploding, and never to be used again,” Trump said during a press conference. “I mean complete demolition by 12 o’clock.”

When asked about possible civilian targets, such as schools, Trump declined to comment.

Earlier, Iran rejected the U.S. ceasefire proposal, insisting that they seek a permanent end to the conflict.
