VILLAR, TULFO TOP 2025 SENATE SALN LIST; ESCUDERO REPORTED AS LEAST WEALTHY

All 24 senators have released their Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALNs) following a memorandum from the Office of the Ombudsman, which called for renewed transparency in the public disclosure of government officials’ assets — whether appointed or elected.

Based on the officially submitted documents, Senator and former DPWH Secretary Mark Villar and Senator Raffy Tulfo emerged as the wealthiest members of the 20th Congress, while Senator Chiz Escudero — who currently faces issues involving alleged campaign donations from a government contractor and supposed kickbacks from questionable flood control projects — was listed as the least wealthy among them.
