VP SARA LAUGHS OFF MARCOS DIALOGUE INVITE, COMMENTS ON BUDGET INSERTIONS

Vice President Sara Duterte sighed and laughed when asked about the statement from the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) that President Bongbong Marcos is open to talk to her for the country’s benefit.

In a statement on Wednesday, December 3, PCO Acting Secretary Dave Gomez said the President remains open to dialogue with anyone, especially with VP Sara.

“He is not, he is not. Sara Duterte remains the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines and President is open to dialogue with anyone for the national interest,” Gomez said.

In The Hague, Netherlands, on Friday, December 5, VP Sara chuckled and sighed when supporters asked her about the statement.

Meanwhile, the Vice President also commented on alleged budget insertions in the House of Representatives, including accusations involving the President’s son, Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos, even though she admitted she has yet to see the documents firsthand.

“Madami talagang mga insertions ang iba’t ibang mga congressman, kasama na si Congressman Sandro Marcos at nakikita natin sa papel ‘yon. Hindi siya tsismis, hindi siya ‘yung gawa-gawa lamang kasi nakikita talaga siya sa mga documents,” VP Sara said.
