VP SARA OPPOSES CALLS FOR PBBM’S RESIGNATION — BONDOC

Vice President Sara Duterte reportedly opposes calls from some individuals and groups urging President Bongbong Marcos to step down, according to her ally, Atty. Jimmy Bondoc.

In a guest appearance, Bondoc said the Vice President was displeased when chants of “BBM Resign!” surfaced.

“I think, I’m authorize to say this, pero no’ng nagkakaroon ng mga BBM resign na call, she didn’t like it,” he said.

He added that contrary to perceptions that she is power-hungry, VP Sara prefers to let the President complete his term.

“[C]ontrary to the popular opinion na parang gutom na gutom daw siya sa power,” Bondoc noted.

The Vice President allegedly wants the public to witness what she considers the “final Marcos mistake” at the end of the term.

However, in a recent interview, VP Sara appeared ready to assume the nation’s highest office if necessary, amid corruption issues and potential destabilization attempts against the Marcos Jr. administration.
