VP SARA SAYS PBBM SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE IN FLOOD CONTROL SCANDAL

Vice President Sara Duterte has asserted that President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. should be included in the corruption cases linked to the 2025 national budget, citing his approval of the General Appropriations Act (GAA) that allowed anomalous insertions.

Hindi lang maliit na pagkukulang, malaking pagkukulang,” Duterte said in a media interview in Cebu City on Thursday, November 13.

The Vice President explained that as President, Marcos signed the 2025 GAA, which legalized the budget insertions.

Bago mo siya pirmahan,” she said.

She emphasized, “Therefore, lahat ng mga anomalya doon, kasama iyong Pangulo.

Meanwhile, Marcos reported on Thursday that their three-month investigation into the flood-control anomalies focused on three main actions to resolve the corruption.
