Controversial TV host and producer Willie Revillame addressed his defeat in the 2025 midterm elections, where he ran for senator but finished 22nd despite being featured in pre-election “magic 12” surveys.
“Madaya man ako o hindi, hindi ko na iniisip yon. Basta ako, wala akong bitterness, wala akong hatred, dayain mo ako eh problema mo na ‘yan, basta ako maganda gagawin ko sa bansa,” Revillame said in an interview with Bilyonaryo News Channel for his game show Wilyonaryo on WilTV.
He also appeared to critique detractors who questioned his intentions during the campaign:
“Ayaw nyo pala ng taong malinis ang hangarin eh, gusto nyo magaling, gusto nyo marunong, ayan ang ginawa sa atin, trilyon ang ninakaw sa atin,” referencing controversies surrounding alleged irregularities in flood control projects.
When asked about a possible 2028 run, Revillame said he has not ruled it out but will take time to consider, noting that he is currently focused on restarting his television program.
