ABS-CBN Corporation has sealed the sale of a significant portion of its Quezon City property to Ayala Land Inc., marking a major move in the Lopez-led company’s ongoing consolidation.
The transaction covers 30,000 square meters out of ABS-CBN’s 44,027.30 sqm estate along Sgt. Esguerra Avenue, Quezon City.
“On 20 August 2025, ABS-CBN Corporation and Ayala Land, Inc. signed the Deeds of Absolute Sale upon the compliance with the conditions precedent,” the network disclosed to the stock exchange.
The agreement follows a Memorandum of Agreement signed last February 27, 2025, which required clearance from the Philippine Competition Commission before the deal could be finalized.
With the sale, ABS-CBN will consolidate its operations within the remaining 14,027.30 sqm of its property. Proceeds will go toward partially paying and servicing its outstanding bank loans, under the terms of its Real Estate Mortgage with creditors.
The deal highlights the company’s continuing effort to stay financially afloat while streamlining its footprint.
