Three of TV5’s brightest stars earned international recognition at the prestigious 2026 TAG Media Chicago Awards, underscoring the network’s growing influence in global entertainment.
Andres Muhlach, one half of the popular “AshDres” loveteam and a lead in Ang Mutya ng Section E, was honored with the Breakthrough Celebrity — TAG Gold Champion award. The rising star was praised as one of the “fast rising new generation stars of this era.”
Veteran actress Claudine Barretto, widely known as the “Optimum Star,” secured the TAG Best Supporting Actress (TV/online series) — Silver Champion award for her performance in the primetime drama Totoy Bato.
Meanwhile, Gab Lagman, the other half of the “HyGab” loveteam and a standout in Bad Genius, received the TAG Best Supporting Actor (TV/online series) — Bronze Champion award for his role in the VIVA One digital series Golden Scenery of Tomorrow.
