Viva One has officially confirmed that Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2: The Dark Side will premiere on December 4, moving from its original November 21 release date.
The announcement was made through Viva One’s social media pages on Saturday, marking exactly one year since the streaming platform introduced Ashtine Olviga, Andres Muhlach, and Rabin Angeles as the lead stars — portraying Jayjay, Keifer, and Yuri — in the hit Wattpad adaptation.
“Class is back na, mga Klasmeyts! Handa ka na ba sa heartbreaks at secrets? Ang Mutya ng Section E (The Dark Side) is coming this December 4 — only on Viva One!” the post read.
The AshDres fandom — fans of Ashtine and Andres — celebrated the update on X (formerly Twitter) by posting nostalgic tributes to the day their breakout loveteam was first introduced.
Following the success of Ang Mutya ng Section E’s first season, the duo went on to star in Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna, one of 2025’s top five highest-grossing Filipino films, further cementing their status as one of the most promising on-screen pairs of the year.
