Fans of the rising love team Andres Muhlach and Ashtine Olviga — collectively known as AshDres — are calling out VIVA Artists Agency on social media platform X following the circulation of “concerning” screenshots from another fan group whose aim was to tarnish the duo’s image.
In a statement released by AshDres Official, the main fandom representing the pair, supporters urged the management to address the situation and take swift action against those responsible for spreading hurtful remarks about the two young artists.
“We demand accountability from everyone who took part in this behavior. Deactivating or staying silent does not erase the damage that has been done,” the fan group stated.
They further added: “We are also calling out VIVA Artists Agency to step in and take immediate action. As the management representing Ashtine and Andres, VIVA must ensure that their artists are protected from this kind of abuse — not left to face public humiliation alone.”
Fans underscored that artist managements play a crucial role not only in promoting their talents but also in ensuring their safety — both online and offline. In today’s era of social media, where public perception can quickly be influenced by misinformation or hostility, agencies are expected to uphold their duty of care and provide emotional and reputational protection to their artists.
They emphasized that timely intervention from management could prevent issues like these from escalating and negatively affecting the mental well-being and professional image of their artists.
As of this writing, VIVA Artists Agency has yet to release an official statement regarding the matter.
