Rising actress-singer Ashtine Olviga, one half of the fast-rising new generation love team AshDres, was formally introduced as the main ambassador of “mASHarap Donburi Rice Bowls” by Japanese restaurant chain Botejyu.

During the media conference held on September 17 at VIVA Café, Ashtine shared why Japanese cuisine, particularly Donburi, has always been her go-to comfort food.
“Japanese food is my comfort lane, especially rice bowls,” Ashtine said.
She added: “On long days, a Donburi is that quick reset I look forward to. It’s warm, flavorful, and it powers me up without slowing me down. That’s why mASHarap felt so me.”
Director Paul Basinillo, who helmed the Botejyu TV advertisement featuring Ashtine, praised her talent and charisma both on and off screen.
“Kapag si Ash na ang nasa stage, ang lakas ng response ng audience. Ganun din sa social media. Madali siyang makasunod sa lahat ng instructions, and she enjoys what she’s doing. Her passion reminds me of Sarah Geronimo’s drive,” said Basinillo.
From her breakthrough in Ang Mutya ng Section E, to her upcoming first film with Andres Muhlach Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna, and with endorsements now lining up, Ashtine is proving herself to be one of the industry’s most-sought-after rising stars — one to watch closely in the months and years ahead.
