Global K-Pop sensation BLACKPINK has made history as the first artist to reach 100 million subscribers on YouTube.
“BLACKPINK HITS 100 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS ON YouTube. BLINKs worldwide, thank you so much!” the group posted on social media.
YouTube marked the milestone with a Red Diamond Creator Award, noting BLACKPINK’s nine entries in the “1 Billion Views Club” and highlighting that three of the group’s top 10 all-time 24-hour music debuts are theirs.
Since debuting in 2016 under YG Entertainment, members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa have pioneered fan engagement through events like the 2021 livestream concert THE SHOW and the 2022 #PinkVenomChallenge.
BLACKPINK recently concluded their Deadline world tour across 16 cities and will release their third EP, Deadline, on February 27, featuring tracks such as “JUMP,” “GO,” “Me and my,” “Champion,” and “Fxxxboy.”
Fans worldwide celebrated the milestone, cementing BLACKPINK’s status as one of the most influential music acts of the digital era.
