One of the country’s leading pay TV operators has officially partnered with the Department of Tourism (DOT) to further elevate and promote the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Philippines.
Earlier today, December 10 (Wednesday), Cignal and the DOT signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that solidifies their shared mission. The signing was led by Cignal and MediaQuest President and CEO Jane Basas, together with Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco.

In an official post, Cignal highlighted the partnership’s purpose: “Cignal and the Department of Tourism are joining forces to shine a brighter spotlight on the beauty of the Philippines.”
They also encouraged Filipinos and global audiences through their message: “Together, we’re bringing Filipino destinations closer to every home, supporting DOT events like the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2026, and creating more content that celebrates our country’s world-class attractions.”
Cignal further expressed its commitment to this nationwide initiative: “Stay tuned as we showcase more reasons to #LoveThePhilippines with Cignal!”

Both Cignal and the DOT share a unified goal—to introduce the Philippines’ extraordinary destinations to the world and highlight why the country deserves to be explored, appreciated, and visited even more.
This collaboration marks a strengthened push toward tourism promotion, cultural pride, and showcasing the Philippines as a world-class destination.
