Fans are calling on VIVA Artists Agency (VAA) to take immediate action following the spread of a false narrative involving Ang Mutya ng Section E star Ashtine Olviga.
Olviga, who has been under VAA’s management since entering showbiz, was recently dragged into a sensitive issue by an anonymous X (formerly Twitter) account—despite the absence of any concrete evidence.
The account has since been suspended for spreading unverified claims.
In an open letter circulated online, several fandoms supporting Olviga and her on-screen partner Andres Muhlach urged the agency to publicly defend their artist.
They stressed that allowing false accusations to go unchecked could damage the reputation Olviga has worked hard to build over the years.
Supporters also expressed concern over the agency’s silence, emphasizing that inaction could negatively affect the 26-year-old actress’s rising career.
As of writing, VIVA Artists Agency has yet to release an official statement regarding the issue.
Fans now ask: How long will the agency remain silent, when it should be the first to stand up for its talent in the face of unverified accusations?
