Manila, Philippines — Is the iconic DZMM on its way back?
This is the question on the minds of many netizens following the release of cryptic teasers by TeleRadyo Serbisyo, the television counterpart of DWPM Radyo 630. The teasers featured familiar audio cues reminiscent of the former DZMM, including the unmistakable voice of Peter Musngi—long regarded as the voice of ABS-CBN and DZMM.

As of this writing, ABS-CBN has not issued any confirmation regarding the potential revival of DZMM.
DZMM ceased operations on May 5, 2020, after ABS-CBN’s broadcast franchise expired and was not renewed by Congress. However, the network returned to AM radio in 2023 through a joint venture with Prime Media Corporation, owned by House Speaker Martin Romualdez, leading to the launch of DWPM Radyo 630.
The cryptic hints have since fueled speculation among loyal listeners and former fans of the now-defunct DZMM, many of whom are hopeful that the beloved radio brand is indeed poised for a return.
