Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa is officially engaged to entrepreneur Emil Eriksen, a milestone she revealed in an exclusive interview with L’Officiel Philippines and Tiffany & Co.
The proposal happened during an intimate hike in Côte d’Azur, France.
Verzosa described the moment as unforgettable, saying, “Of course, I said yes. It was an easy yes!”
She added that it was the “best hike of her life,” made even more special by the surprise proposal and the engagement ring.
In an Instagram reel shared by L’Officiel Philippines, Verzosa reflected on love, saying:
“Things I love about love… I love the way you drag me out of bed early in the morning. I love the way you make me laugh. I love the way you make me grow. You make me see a future. I’m having a bad day, you make me calm. You make me want to dream. You tell me that the world is ours to take. With you, everything is possible.”
The beauty queen also revealed that she and Eriksen had kept the engagement private for months.
“I’ve been keeping this for six months now,” she wrote on Instagram Stories while reposting the magazine feature.
Verzosa later shared a photo from the hike showing her engagement ring as Eriksen kissed her cheek, captioned: “It was the best hike ever!!”
The engagement marks a new chapter for Verzosa, who has largely kept her relationship out of the public eye until now.
