After several years away, star-maker and veteran TV director Johnny Manahan is back under the wing of the Kapatid Network.
Known in the industry as Mr. M, he now sits at the helm of TV5’s brand-new OPM countdown show Vibe, whose pilot episode aired successfully yesterday, August 10 (Sunday).
In an interview with Kapatid entertainment journalist MJ Marfori for Frontline Pilipinas, Mr. M promised viewers that the show will deliver an enjoyable experience — and that he’s fully hands-on in making it happen.
“It’s gonna be fun, it’s gonna be music. I like that because being with kids, bumabata ako,” Mr. M said.
More than just directing, Mr. M’s signature touch runs deep in Vibe — from developing the concept, to handpicking the Vibe Jocks and Gen V’s.
Vibe airs Mondays to Sundays on TV5.
