The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) is set to debut “Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 4: Oh Sh*t! It’s Live Sa Cheter!” from June 19 to August 16, 2026 at the PETA Theater Center, marking the franchise’s first-ever live theatrical installment after two films and a series.
Staying true to its sharp satirical DNA, the stage production turns its lens inward, skewering the realities of Philippine theater.
Described as a “chaotic, hilarious meta-comedy,” the show tackles everything from venue headaches and ticket pricing to shifting audience tastes and long-running debates on what local theater should be. It also weaves in global influences and Broadway trends while tracing the evolution of the Filipino stage.
Veteran actress Eugene Domingo returns to play a fictionalized version of herself, continuing the role she has embodied throughout the franchise. PETA hints that she will share the stage with “everybody else in the theater world as themselves,” suggesting a self-referential, industry-wide parody.
The production reunites creators Marlon Rivera and Chris Martinez with PETA Artistic Director Maribel Legarda, positioning the show as the company’s “boldest evolution yet”—blending humor, entertainment, and the political-cultural commentary that defines PETA’s work.
Known for hits such as Rak of Aegis, Walang Aray, and One More Chance: The Musical, PETA is expected to deliver the same accessible wit and social insight. The show arrives as Philippine theater continues rebuilding momentum amid rising production costs and post-pandemic recovery.
Co-presented by Metrobank, PETA’s official bank partner for 2026, the production will offer Metrobank credit cardholders early ticket access through a special presale next year.
Those who sign up for the waitlist from December 2 to 7, 2025 at bit.ly/PETASepticTank4Waitlist will be next in line once ticket sales open.
