With only 82 days before Christmas, TV5 has kicked off the holiday season early with the lighting of its iconic giant red ball at the TV5 Reliance Center in Mandaluyong City on Friday, October 3.
The glowing TV5 ball, a familiar symbol of the network, now also stands as a beacon of hope and renewal for Filipinos navigating challenges brought about by recent tragedies, calamities, and issues of governance.

Leading the ceremony was TV5 President and CEO Guido Zaballero, who officially launched this year’s Christmas slogan, “Walang Patid Ang Paskong Kapatid.”
“Alam mo naman, ang Pasko sa Pilipinas pinaka-(ma)habang Pasko yan sa buong mundo diba? So, ang TV5, we really recognize that and what we really want to do is to share that joy, yung excitement ng Pasko,” Zaballero said.
The Kapatid Network also teased the release of its Christmas Station ID, which this year will put the spotlight on the resilience of Filipinos—finding light and hope in the midst of life’s challenges.
