The country’s freshest OPM music countdown show VIBE is turning up the energy for fans with a new day, earlier schedule, and longer timeslot—promising a more vibrant Sabado Nights experience for viewers and OPM enthusiasts.
The episode opened with an explosive performance from the show’s Vibe Jocks and Gen Vs, performing OPM favorites such as Sabado Nights, Pakundangan, Dating Tayo, and Amatz, immediately setting the lively tone for the revamped program.
OG Stars Take the Stage
The show welcomed its first “OG star,” OPM muse Lilet, who performed her classic hit Kaibigan Lang Pala. The singer also shared the real story behind the track.
“Ang akala nila, tungkol ito sa friendzone. Ang istoryang ito, meron akong gusto, tapos itong taong ‘to akala ko meron na siyang jowa. Tapos nadiscover ko, Ay! Hindi pala, magkaibigan lang pala sila. Kaya, nagkaroon ako ng pag-asa.”
NEW SEGMENT: VIBE SPOT
The show also introduced a new segment called VIBE SPOT, highlighting viral trends and personalities making waves online. Its first guests were The Dancing Riders—Ryan Viray, Yukii Artana, and Rhic Maniego—who performed Hawak Mo Ang Beat on the VIBE stage.
The trio shared their journey and why they chose to showcase OPM.
“Gusto naming ipakita ang ganda at talent ng musikang Pilipino,” Yukii said.
Timeless OPM Diva Performance
Another highlight was the appearance of the Phenomenal and Timeless Diva Jessa Zaragoza, who delivered unforgettable performances of Bakit Pa and Di Ba’t Ikaw.
Zaragoza expressed gratitude for performing on the show’s stage and for the continued support of OPM artists and productions.
Rising Acts and Chart Performers
In the UPRISING segment, the top rising act of the week was international P-Pop group HORI7ON, performing their latest comeback LUNOD, which received 28.20% of the votes.
The group shared that the track marks their first R&B song fully in Tagalog, with member Marcus saying their ultimate goal is to represent the Philippines on the global stage and connect with their fans known as ANCHORS.
Meanwhile, the Spotify Tatak Pinoy LIVE segment announced FITTERKARMA as the winner, with their special Spotify x Vibe performance scheduled for March 21.
MAIN VIBE CHART HIGHLIGHTS
The MAIN VIBE leaderboard featured several OPM acts climbing the rankings.
Band Calein entered the Top 8 with their latest single Sa Akin, sharing that their music often reflects personal experiences—from hopeful romance to their current “in-love era.”
12th Street secured the Top 6 spot with Makapiliping Ka, which the band described as a distinctive sound for their upcoming album.
Taking the Top 1 spot was Sam Concepcion with his cover of Pakisabi Na Lang, originally performed by The Company and later recorded by Ice Seguerra. Concepcion thanked fans for their continued support through votes and streams.
CLOSING PERFORMANCE
For the final OG star appearance, the J Brothers delivered nostalgic performances of Sana’y Bigyan Mo Ng Pansin and Baby I Love You, engaging with the studio audience known as VHIES.
The siblings shared the bond that keeps their group strong.
