This 2026, VIBE is definitely EVERYWHERE! VIBE is here to bring the freshest, the trendiest, hottest and classic OPM songs from streams, votes to screens. VIBE is unstoppable when it comes to the OPM revolution that has shaken the industry.
Last Sunday, VIBE returned for its first LIVE of 2026, igniting the Meralco Theater with electrifying performances from the VIBE JOCKS and GEN Vs.
The night opened with a powerhouse production featuring the Divine Divas performing “Oh, Divine Diva” alongside Vibe Jock Maxie, social media sensations Kween Yasmin, Toniyuh, Arman Salon, Sophie Prime, Dyn Altiche, and Drag Race Superstar and Miss Gay Quiapo Tourism Angel Galang. The energy soared as legendary OPM band Alamid took centerstage with “Sama-Sama.”
OG STAGE ON FIRE
The OG stage blazed with timeless hits as Alamid performed their original and classic anthem “Your Love,” expressing gratitude for still being able to share their music decades later.
The UPRISING star of the week was OPM band Talata, shaking the theater with their song “Anghel” which garnered 38.25%. The band revealed that “Anghel” is a call-out track: “Mukhang Anghel sa simula, pero may sungay pala.”
They also shared the story behind their second single “Wala Ka Nang Babalikan,” narrating the bittersweet tale of love, breakups, and moving on.
Balladeer Richard Reyonso followed with heartfelt renditions of “Paminsan-minsan” and “Hindi Ko Kaya.”
Reyonso shared his joy at the warm welcome from fans, admitting he feared his songs might be forgotten, but was moved when the audience sang along. He also noted his long-standing service as part of the MTRCB Board for 30 years.
MAIN VIBE SPOTLIGHT
The MAIN VIBE stage brought the spotlight to three Pinoy stars:
- ALLMO$T with “Boyfriend” at the 6th spot
- AJAA, returning for the third time with “Bes I Luv U” at the 5th spot
- Innervoices, topping the leaderboard with “I Will Wait For You In The Rain”
GRAND OG FINALE
The night closed with an emotional reunion as Paco Arespacochaga performed his classics “Di Na Ko Aasa Pa” and “Line To Heaven,” joined by his former Introvoys bandmates, wrapping up the show with nostalgia and unity.
