As we’re still having hangover to #AWITxVIBE last November 16, the show opened strong with dynamic performances from the Vibe Jocks and Gen Vs. Vibe Jock Queenay and Gen Vs Selina and Carmela lit up the stage with BINI’s “Pantropiko,” followed by Vibe Jock Dylan’s number for Cup of Joe’s “Misteryoso,” the Song of the Year in #AWITxVIBE.
The energy soared even higher with a powerful performance of Ben&Ben’s “Triumph” from Vibe Jocks Maxie, Ryle, and Dylan, matched with fiery dance moves from Gen Vs Niko and Gab.
The most-loved VIBE experience continued with a new addition to the family—Spotify Tatak Pinoy LIVE. Indie folk-pop band Over October emerged as the first headliner winner for “Dahan,” delivering a performance that truly embodied Tatak Pinoy feels.
The UPRISING universe also took center stage with Jenzen Guino showcasing his latest single “Marupok.” Jenzen thanked fans for voting and promised to bring more new songs soon.
The night then paid tribute to OPM roots with two certified icons on the OG stage. Mr. Florante De Leon performed the timeless classic “Handog” and shared his thoughts on modern OPM: “Ang modern OPM ika nga’y well sumasama sa panahon yan napaka ganda din. Maikukumpera natin dun sa ating musika noong araw. Saludo ako sa mga Pilipino kumanta ng mga sariling lika nila.”
The segment wrapped with Grin Department performing “Miss, U-Miss, Miss Sa Loob Ng Jeepney.”
VIBE’s MAIN VIBE segment set the night ablaze as fan-favorite Maxie Andreison finally took the stage to perform “Tado” after reclaiming her spot on the leaderboard. Maxie expressed gratitude to her supporters, the Maxie Babies, for their unwavering love and votes.
The evening concluded on a romantic note as James Reid gave his first VIBE performance with “You Deserve It.”
“Actually sinulat ko to para sa mga tao sa buhay ko that I think that’s truly deserves love and appreciation. I dedicated this to them,” he shared.
As the holiday season approaches, VIBE gears up for Christmas special episodes featuring festive collaborations, surprise guests, and more to make every viewer’s Paskong Kapatid merrier than ever.
