Streaming platform Viva One is set to debut a new original project featuring rising actress Ashtine Olviga in the upcoming anthology series Viva One Originals: Ashtine, premiering on March 13.
The four-episode anthology aims to highlight Olviga’s versatility as she portrays different characters across multiple genres—from comedy and romance to horror and drama.
Each episode tells a standalone story with different co-stars and directors, designed to showcase what Studio Viva describes as the “multiverse levels” of the young actress’ acting range.
The series opens with the comedy episode Who’s The Boss?, directed by RC Delos Reyes. In the episode, Olviga stars alongside comedy icon Rufa Mae Quinto in a body-swap story between a young assistant and her outspoken CEO, leading to humorous yet reflective moments about empathy, power, and self-discovery.

The second episode, My Melody, premieres on March 20 and shifts to romance. Olviga plays Melody, a devoted fan whose life takes an unexpected turn when a Korean idol enters her world. She stars alongside South Korean actor Lee Dae-won and Filipino actor-singer Rob Deniel.

The anthology then explores horror in Balik-Eskwela, directed by Roni S. Benaid. Inspired by viral online horror stories, the episode features Olviga with Marco Gumabao and Sara Joe in a suspenseful tale about a student whose return to school leads to a chilling supernatural mystery.

Closing the series on April 4 is the drama Bahay-Bahayan, where Olviga shares the screen with veteran actress Claudine Barretto. The episode follows a young woman raised by her grandmother while her mother works abroad, exploring themes of emotional wounds, family separation, and reconciliation.

The project marks a milestone for Olviga, who becomes the first Viva talent to headline a dedicated anthology under the Viva One Originals banner—reflecting the platform’s confidence in her rising popularity following her breakout roles in digital series and films.
With four distinct stories and a diverse ensemble cast, Viva One Originals: Ashtine aims to offer viewers fresh storytelling while showcasing the young actress’ ability to take on a wide range of roles.
