On July 24, Viva One officially revealed the lead cast of the highly anticipated series adaptation of I Love You Since 1892, based on the best-selling Wattpad novel by Binibining Mia.
Actress Heaven Peralejo will take on the dual role of Carmela Isabella and Carmelita Montecarlos, while Jerome Ponce will portray Juanito Alfonso, and Joseph Marco, a newcomer to the VIVA family will play Leandro Flores.
The series will be directed by internationally acclaimed and award-winning director Mcarthur C. Alejandre.
Produced by Viva, the historical-romance series follows the story of Carmela Isabella, a modern-day woman who mysteriously finds herself transported back to the year 1892, during the Spanish colonial era in the Philippines.
There, she encounters two compelling figures—Juanito, a noble and dashing man, and Leandro, a mysterious character harboring secret feelings.
Torn between love, destiny, and time, Carmel must decide whether to stay in the past for love or return to her rightful place in the present.
