VIVA Entertainment has officially unveiled the cast of its upcoming stage production “Bagets: The Musical,” a reimagining of the 1984 Filipino box-office hit that defined a generation.
The announcement was made during a press conference held on Friday, October 10, at VIVA Café, where the full lineup of actors stepping into the iconic roles originally portrayed by Aga Muhlach, William Martinez, J.C. Bonnin, Raymond Lauchengco, and Herbert Bautista was introduced.

The cast includes:
- Andres Muhlach and Mico Hendrix Chua as Adie, the character originally played by Aga Muhlach — and coincidentally, Andres’ real-life father.
- KD Estrada and Ethan David as Arnel, the role made famous by Raymond Lauchengco.
- Noel Comia Jr. and Tomas Rodriguez as Gilbert, originally portrayed by Herbert Bautista.
- Milo Cruz and Migo Valid as Tonton, the role of William Martinez in the original film.
- Jeff Moses and Sam Shoaf as Topee, the character once played by J.C. Bonnin.
Produced by VIVA Entertainment in partnership with The Philippine Star, “Bagets: The Musical” will run from January 23 to March 2026 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City.
Fans eager to secure their seats can join the waitlist presale starting October 15 (Wednesday), while general ticket sales open on October 17 (Friday).
