WAGE HIKE TAKES EFFECT IN CENTRAL LUZON STARTING OCTOBER 30

The wage increase for workers in Central Luzon officially takes effect today, Thursday, October 30, following the approval of the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB).

Under the new wage order, the daily minimum wage in the region will now range from ₱475 to ₱570 for the first tranche. According to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), another round of increases will follow on April 16, 2026, bringing the rates to ₱515 to ₱600.

The monthly minimum wage for domestic workers (kasambahays) in the region will also rise to ₱6,500.

The wage adjustment aims to ease the impact of rising prices of essential goods and help maintain a decent standard of living for workers across Central Luzon.
