TV host and producer Willie Revillame has announced a free transportation initiative to help Filipinos cope with the ongoing crisis triggered by the conflict involving the US, Israel, and Iran.
Revillame revealed the project during his game show Wilyonaryo, saying he and several friends pooled funds to purchase minibuses for public use.
“Nilagyan namin ng sticker na ‘Wilyonaryo’. Kapag nakita ninyo po ‘yung ‘Wilyonaryo’, libreng sakay,” he said.
The initiative, dubbed the Wilyonaryo Free Ride Minibuses, will operate 10 units across major Metro Manila routes, including Monumento to Mall of Asia in Pasay City, SM North EDSA in Quezon City, and Megamall in Pasig City.
Revillame added that he is coordinating with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to secure permits for the service.
This move highlights his commitment to providing immediate relief and support to commuters during challenging times.
