THREE LOCAL IDOL GROUPS PART WAYS IN SEPTEMBER

The Philippine idol scene faced a series of bittersweet farewells this September as three local idol groups announced their disbandment within just a month.

Kuroba, a Project Sekai–inspired group that quickly captured the hearts of fans, revealed their disbandment on September 16 due to internal challenges. The group held their final performance at Cosplay Re:Connect in Kai Mall on September 21, closing their journey with the same energy that made them beloved by their community.

MiRai, the duo composed of Yomi and Rai, also declared their disbandment earlier this month on September 1. Citing academic priorities and the pursuit of new paths, the pair will hold their final stage together at AnnChan Beacon II on October 11 at Cities Event Place in Quezon City.

Meanwhile, Radiant, formed by Sai and Yumi, confirmed through social media on September 30 that they would also be parting ways. Their last live appearance was during Ozine Fest Pre-Tanabata back in July.

Despite the sadness surrounding these announcements, fans have expressed gratitude for the performances and memories the groups created, leaving a lasting mark on the local idol community.
