ABS-CBN Studios’ 2022 romantic-comedy series “2 Good 2 Be True”, starring former real-life couple Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, has made history as the first Philippine television drama to air on free-to-air TV in the Middle East.
According to an official statement from ABS-CBN Corporate Communications:
“ABS-CBN marks another international milestone as its hit romantic-drama ʼ2 Good 2 Be Trueʼ becomes the first Philippine teleserye to air on free-to-air television in the Middle East, airing weeknights on Dubai One since February 16.”
The series is broadcast in an English-dubbed format with Arabic subtitles, with replay telecasts daily at 10 AM and 4 PM.
Dubai One, owned by Dubai Media Incorporated, is a leading English-language free-to-air channel in the Middle East and North Africa, known for showcasing series and films from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and other major English-language markets.
Originally aired in the Philippines in 2022 via Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5, “2 Good 2 Be True” remains available for streaming on iWant and Netflix, ABS-CBN’s global streaming partner for the series.
