ABS-CBN has officially relaunched its popular streaming platform iWant, unveiling a more accessible and refined app during a grand event held earlier today, July 9, at the Dolphy Theater inside the ABS-CBN compound.
With the theme “Unlock Your Feels: The New iWant Experience,” the event highlighted the app’s major enhancements—now boasting a sleeker interface and an enriched user experience.
The updated platform features an expanded content library of beloved Kapamilya shows and films, as well as content from GMA Network, Regal Films, and VIVA Films.
ABS-CBN Digital Head Jaime Lopez emphasized the network’s commitment to digital transformation.
“While we say goodbye to a symbol of our broadcasting era, we are well-positioned in the digital world and welcome the relaunch of iWant,” Lopez said, referring to the upcoming demolition of the iconic Millennium Transmitter.
Lopez also expressed gratitude to long-time iWant users, noting how user feedback shaped the improvements.
“To our iWant Kapamilya, thank you for the feedback. We made significant changes into our platform from what you see as a viewer and to how our internal team manages this behind the scenes,” he added.
The event was graced by notable personalities including comedian Red Ollero, ABS-CBN News Chief of Reporters Jeff Canoy, directors Rodina Singh and Ivan Payawal, and Kapamilya heartthrob Donny Pangilinan of the DonBelle loveteam.
The new iWant app is now available for download on both iOS and Android devices nationwide.
