The long-running musical variety show ASAP is set to celebrate a milestone as it airs a special episode on Sunday, February 1, marking the first “monthsary” of its return alongside fellow ABS-CBN programs under the “Kapamilya Channel sa ALLTV2” banner.
Titled “All2gether Kapamilya: A Grand Pasasalamat,” the special edition will bring together the network’s biggest stars, led by Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, ZsaZsa Padilla, Regine Velasquez, and Ogie Alcasid, joined by other Kapamilya mainstays.
The celebration will also feature appearances and performances from cast members of hit ABS-CBN shows such as FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, It’s Showtime, Roja, What Lies Beneath, The Alibi, and Your Face Sounds Familiar.
Artists from upcoming programs Love Is Never Gone and Someone, Someday are likewise set to join the event.
The live episode will air earlier than usual at 11:55 a.m., simulcast on Kapamilya Channel on ALLTV2, A2Z, cable, iWant, and other ABS-CBN platforms.
This marks the fifth episode of ASAP since its return to Channel 2 on January 4, the former frequency of ABS-CBN prior to its shutdown in May 2020.
Following the loss of its franchise, ASAP continued airing on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z, later expanding to TV5 in 2021.
The show exited TV5 last December after the end of ABS-CBN’s content supply agreement with the Kapatid network.
