Contrary to recent reports, the action-drama series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo starring Coco Martin will not conclude on January 2, 2026.
A reliable source clarified, responding to an article from the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) that claimed the series would end following TV5’s termination of its deal to air Kapamilya programs:
“No. Ang labo lalo na kung titingnan nyo yung flow ng story, malabo yung biglang finale sa Jan. 2,” the source said.
The source acknowledged, however, that the information shared by PEP is generally accurate, suggesting the series will likely end in February or March 2026.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN continues to search for additional “free TV home” options for its primetime programs and its Sunday noontime show, ASAP, as the network navigates the ongoing changes in its broadcast partnerships.
