Primetime King Coco Martin has confirmed that his Kapamilya action series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo will air its final episode on March 13, Friday, after three years on air.
In an exclusive interview with Kapamilya entertainment journalist MJ Felipe, Coco revealed that the show’s successor, Sigabo, will premiere immediately on March 16, Monday.
The new teleserye will once again feature Coco alongside his real-life partner Julia Montes, and is expected to carry a lighter tone compared to his past projects.
FPJ’s Batang Quiapo has been one of ABS-CBN’s flagship primetime dramas, blending action and social themes. Its conclusion paves the way for Sigabo, which promises fresh storytelling centered on family and relationships.
