GMA Network and ABS-CBN Corporation emerged as the two most-trusted media outlets in the Philippines, according to a recent survey conducted by public opinion firm Publicus Asia.

The survey, conducted from December 7 to 10 among around 1,500 respondents nationwide, showed GMA Network leading with a 40% total trust rating, followed closely by ABS-CBN with 35%.
Traditional print media also placed strongly in the rankings, with the Philippine Daily Inquirer securing a 31% trust rating, followed by The Philippine Star at 28% and the Manila Bulletin at 27%.
Broadcast media outlets likewise figured prominently in the Top 10 list. DZMM Radyo Patrol 630—an AM radio station jointly operated by ABS-CBN Corporation and Prime Media Holdings Inc.—and TV5 Network, Inc. both garnered a 26% trust rating. NewsWatch Plus, formerly known as CNN Philippines, followed with 25%.
Completing the list were DZBB Super Radyo, the AM radio station of GMA Network, and DZRH, another major AM radio station, both of which earned a 22% trust rating from respondents.
The results highlight the continued credibility and influence of established television, radio, and print organizations in shaping public opinion, even as audiences increasingly consume news across digital platforms.
