Netflix Philippines confirmed that two highly anticipated shows from GMA Network and ABS-CBN Studios will premiere on its platform in 2026.
At a trade event on Monday, February 9, Netflix announced that the Kapuso suspense-drama series “The Master Cutter”, starring Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, will be first available on Netflix Philippines starting April 17.
The series will later air on GMA-7, replacing the fantasy series “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.”
Similarly, the Kapamilya romantic-drama series “Someone, Someday”, starring Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid, and Maja Salvador and produced by ABS-CBN Studios and Dreamscape Entertainment, will also debut first on Netflix.
The streaming premiere date has not yet been disclosed before its free TV release on Kapamilya Channel via ALLTV2, cable, and A2Z.
