On Friday, September 12, GMA Heart of Asia delighted its fans with a special announcement: the highly anticipated comeback of the beloved K-Drama, “The Baker King.”
The series follows the story of the illegitimate son of a powerful baking mogul, who is cast out of his family and must fight to reclaim his destiny. As a legendary baker’s apprentice, he faces off against his half-brother in a fierce rivalry to become the rightful heir to their father’s baking empire.
Originally aired on GMA from January to April 2011, “The Baker King” became one of the network’s most-watched Asianovelas. Fans can now look forward to its return, with the comeback premiere set for September 29.
