GMA Network has officially unveiled the cast of its upcoming political-drama thriller Whispers From Heaven.
During the story conference and script reading, the network introduced Bea Alonzo, Maricar Reyes-Poon, Jason Abalos, Tom Rodriguez, Jake Macapagal, and Cassy Legaspi as part of the ensemble.
In an interview with the Kapuso Network, Bea Alonzo expressed her excitement for the project:
“I am very happy and fortunate na magpo-produce ng ganitong klaseng materyal ang GMA,” said Bea.
“It took me a year before I could say a yes to a project kasi napaisip ako, this is my 25th year in the industry. And I thought sa susunod kong proyekto na gagawin that it should be bigger than me. Dapat ‘yung salvation na sa mga sumuporta sa akin, hindi na tungkol sa akin.”
This marks Bea’s comeback project with GMA following her lead role in the thriller-drama Widow’s Web in 2024.
Directed by critically acclaimed filmmaker and TV director Zig Dulay, Whispers From Heaven is set to premiere this year on GMA Prime, promising a gripping blend of political intrigue and emotional storytelling.
