Broadcast journalist and host Gretchen Ho has officially left Cignal TV, ending her stint with the network at the close of January.
According to a report by Media Newser Philippines, Ho opted not to renew her contract, with sources saying the decision was driven by her plan to take a temporary break from television.
She is reportedly considering further studies or independently producing new episodes of her travel and advocacy program under her “Woman in Action” brand.
Ho joined Cignal TV in 2021, months after ABS-CBN Corporation lost its broadcast franchise. She became a familiar face on several programs, including Gud Morning Kapatid, The Big Story, Morning Matters, and Frontline sa Umaga.
Her work also earned recognition, as she was named national winner for Best Factual Presenter at the 2025 Asian Academy Creative Awards.
As of writing, neither Ho nor Cignal TV has issued an official statement regarding her departure.
