Fans of the classic sitcom John en Marsha can relive the nostalgia at a one-day exhibit titled “Magsumikap Ka!” in Intramuros, Manila, on January 31.
According to a press release, the event aims not only to entertain but also to “highlight the enduring Filipino values of family, humor, and resilience reflected in the series,” celebrating the sitcom’s lasting impact.

Held at Teatro de Fort Santiago, the exhibit will feature memorabilia from the beloved show and host a morning ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by members of Dolphy’s family, including actor and director Eric Quizon, as part of a fan-led campaign pushing for the late Comedy King’s recognition as a National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts.
The afternoon and evening will include screenings of three digitized lost episodes, while puppeteer Wanlu will perform with a Dolphy puppet.

Entrance to the exhibit costs P75, with discounted tickets at P50 for students, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities.
John en Marsha ran from 1973 to 1990 on RPN-9 and starred Dolphy, Nida Blanca, Maricel Soriano, Dely Atay-Atayan, and Rolly Quizon, becoming an iconic reflection of Filipino family life and humor.
