KAPAMILYA–KAPATID DRAMAS RETURN TO PRIMETIME

Filipino viewers are set to be moved once again by stories created through the collaboration of Kapamilya and Kapatid, as the television series “Nag-aapoy na Damdamin” and “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” return to free TV—this time in the primetime slot—starting Monday, January 19.

The two dramas are co-productions of ABS-CBN Studios and TV5 Network, Inc. and previously aired in TV5’s afternoon block, while simulcast on ABS-CBN platforms including A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and iWant.

Nag-aapoy na Damdamin, topbilled by Jane Oineza, Ria Atayde-Marudo, JC de Vera, and Tony Labrusca, will air at 8:45 PM, immediately after Totoy Bato. The series is known for its emotionally charged storytelling and intense character conflicts that resonated strongly with daytime viewers during its original run.

Following it at the 9:30 PM slot is Pira-Pirasong Paraiso, starring real-life couple Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte, alongside Charlie Dizon, Elisse Joson, Joseph Marco, Alexa Ilacad, and KD Estrada. The series explores complex family dynamics, love, and redemption, making it a strong addition to the primetime lineup.

The return of these teleseryes marks the end of TV5’s movie block “Cine Cinco Primetime,” which temporarily occupied the slot.

It may be recalled that the content supply agreement between ABS-CBN and TV5 ended on the first day of 2026 following the Kapamilya Network’s failure to remit its obligations to the Kapatid Network, an issue that was later settled.

With their move to primetime, Nag-aapoy na Damdamin and Pira-Pirasong Paraiso are expected to reach a wider audience and once again stir emotions among Filipino viewers.
