For the first time in her celebrated career, veteran comedienne and “Comedy Concert Queen” Ai-Ai delas Alas is set to appear in a TV5 series.
Ai-Ai was among the cast members introduced by TV5 and Cornerstone Studios for their upcoming television project, marking her official debut on the Kapatid Network.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, the actress expressed her gratitude to her management, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, and to GMA Network for granting her permission to take part in the project.
“Maraming marami din salamat sa GMA-7 at pinayagan ako gumawa sa Channel 5, salamat po,” delas Alas wrote.
Joining Ai-Ai in the series are Shaina Magdayao, Sid Lucero, Kit Thompson, JM de Guzman, and Mitch Valdez, under the direction of Derick Cabrido.
The new show marks a fresh collaboration between established and emerging stars, blending comedy and drama in what’s expected to be one of TV5’s major offerings this year.
