Longtime noontime favorite E.A.T… Bulaga! continues to prove that Filipino audiences remain loyal to their Dabarkads, especially during lunchtime viewing.
According to data from the National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) for July 19, 21, and 22, the TV5 noontime show is steadily closing in on its main competitor, ABS-CBN Studios’ It’s Showtime, which currently airs on GMA-7.
On Saturday, July 19, E.A.T… Bulaga! garnered a rating of 3.7% on TV5, while It’s Showtime earned 4.1% on GMA-7.
The gap narrowed further by Monday, July 21, with E.A.T… Bulaga! posting a 4.1% rating compared to It’s Showtime’s 4.3%.
By Tuesday, July 22, both shows reached parity, tying at 3.9%.
While It’s Showtime still holds an advantage due to its combined reach on GMA-7, A2Z, ALLTV, and Kapamilya Channel, E.A.T… Bulaga!’s steady ratings growth reflects renewed momentum for the country’s longest-running noontime program.
As it marks its 46th year on air, E.A.T… Bulaga! promises even more excitement for its viewers, with popular segments such as Gimme 5, Sugod Bahay Mga Kapatid, Peraphy, and the upcoming grand finals of The Clones.
E.A.T… Bulaga! airs Monday to Friday at 12:00 NN and Saturdays at 11:25 AM on TV5, simulcast on RPTV.
It is also livestreamed via the official social media platforms of TV5 and TVJ Productions.
