FPJ’S BATANG QUIAPO REMAINS PRIMETIME LEADER DESPITE NEW COMPETITION

Top-rating primetime series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo continues to assert its dominance in Philippine television, even with the debut of a new fantasy rival.

Despite the recent premiere of Sang’gre: The Encantadia Chronicles on GMA Network, the action-packed ABS-CBN series headlined by Coco Martin maintained a solid lead not only in its 8:00 PM slot but across the entire day.

Based on the latest National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) weekly average ratings from June 19 to June 23, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo posted a strong 13.34% versus Sang’gre’s 12%.

In estimated free TV viewership, that translates to approximately 4,588,960 viewers nationwide for the Kapamilya series, compared to 4,128,000 for its competitor.

The show, produced by ABS-CBN Studios, Dreamscape Entertainment, and CCM Film Productions, is expected to heat up even more as tensions rise between Tanggol (Coco Martin) and Miguelito (Jake Cuenca)—not only in the race for Manila mayor but also in Tanggol’s pursuit of justice for his brother David’s (McCoy de Leon) death.

FPJ’s Batang Quiapo airs weeknights at 8:00 PM on the TodoMax Primetime Singko block of TV5, with simulcast on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.
