The official cast of the Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean drama series The Good Doctor was unveiled today, November 15 (Saturday), marking an exciting new chapter for local television audiences.
During the story conference, singer-actor Iñigo Pascual was formally introduced as the lead of the MQuest Ventures and CreaZion Studios production. He will be joined by Ryan Agoncillo, Gelli de Belen, Gabby Padilla, Pearl Gonzales, James Blanco, Angie Castrence, and John Leinard Ramos, under the direction of Derick Cabrido.

In an interview, Pascual shared his excitement about taking on the role and assured fans that they will enjoy the adaptation.
“While it’s a remake, isang malaking bagay na pinanood ko yung original as well as the other version and we’ll be doing workshops so kinakabahan ako kasi hindi siya madali,” he said.
This project also marks Pascual’s first major acting endeavor following several years with the Kapamilya network.
“I’m excited… masaya ako na (n)andito na tayo sa panahon na hindi na siya network wars,” he added.

Ryan Agoncillo, who returns to full-fledged acting after more than a decade, expressed his enthusiasm as well.
“Well it’s exciting and ano siya, isa siyang malaking blessing of course to be able to work with very good people pero pinaka-excited ako mapanood ito ng mga anak ko kasi paborito na yung ‘The Good Doctor’,” he shared.
The Philippine adaptation of The Good Doctor is set to premiere on TV5 next year.
