A groundbreaking collaboration between TV5 and VIU Philippines is set to redefine reality television with the launch of KUMUSTA, the first-ever Pinoy-Korean reality show premiering on May 24, Sundays at 6:45 PM.

Produced by E&S Partners, a subsidiary of Echolive Korea—the same company behind Waterbomb Manila 2025—this unique series promises to satisfy both cultural curiosity and Pinoy cravings.
KUMUSTA brings together some of the Philippines’ finest talents—Jodi Sta. Maria, Francine Diaz, Janella Salvador, Arci Muñoz, and chef-restaurateur JP Anglo—alongside Korean superstar Ji Chang-Wook.

The show highlights teamwork, camaraderie, and the human side of beloved celebrities as they run the Kumusta restaurant in Seoul, serving iconic Filipino dishes to both Korean and Filipino customers.
At the press conference held last Saturday, Chef JP Anglo revealed the menu lineup, which includes Sinigang, Palabok, Inihaw na Isda, Gising-Gising, Sisig, Halo-Halo, Kare-Kare, and the iconic Lechon.

The actresses shared their unforgettable experiences working in the restaurant, learning basic Korean phrases, and bonding with Korean stars. Ji Chang-Wook expressed his excitement, saying it was “an amazing experience” to be part of the show.
Adding more star power, Korean celebrities Seo In Guk, Kim Myung Soo (L), and Kim Min Seok will also join the series. Korea’s Master Chef Choi Hyun Seok is set to visit the restaurant to taste the Filipino specialties.

The concept of KUMUSTA challenges the cast to handle the pressure of running a restaurant filled with eager customers. Will they succeed in delivering authentic Filipino hospitality and flavors under the spotlight?
This project underscores TV5’s commitment to offering refreshing and innovative programming, while strengthening cultural ties between South Korea and the Philippines.
Catch KUMUSTA every Sunday night starting May 24, 6:45 PM on TV5 and simultaneously streaming on VIU. Download the VIU app today and be part of this cultural feast!
