TV5’s flagship news programs drew strong viewership on July 21 and 22, according to National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) data.
On Monday, July 21, Una Sa Lahat, anchored by veteran broadcast journalist and 2019 senatorial aspirant Jiggy Manicad, registered a 2.7% rating. Meanwhile, Frontline Pilipinas, anchored by Julius Babao, Cheryl Cosim, and Jervi Wrightson, posted a 3.0% rating.
By Tuesday, July 22, Una Sa Lahat garnered a 2.2% rating, while Frontline Pilipinas rose to 3.2%.
The ratings boost for both programs was attributed to News5’s extensive coverage of Typhoons Crising, Dante, and Emong, as well as the intensified southwest monsoon or habagat.
Una Sa Lahat airs Monday to Friday at 5:30 PM, followed by Frontline Pilipinas at 6:00 PM on TV5, with simultaneous broadcast on RPTV.
Both programs are also available via Kapatid Livestream on YouTube and the official social media channels of News5.
