Last Sunday’s episode of VIBE was all about YOU — the fans who continue to make OPM louder, prouder, and stronger! The energy inside the Meralco Theater was electric as the show officially launched the 38th Awit Awards powered by VIBE voting platform via vibeph.tv.

Before the big reveal, the stage lit up with explosive performances from the VIBE Jocks and Gen V under the theme “IKAW.” Opening the show was birthday girl Vibe Jock Queenay, who delivered a heartfelt rendition of Yeng Constantino’s “Ikaw.” Following her was Vibe Jock Ana, who impressed the crowd with Zsa Zsa Padilla’s “Ikaw Lamang,” joined by Coro De Manila, whose breathtaking choreography earned a standing ovation.

The energy continued with Vibe Jock Elijah, who charmed everyone with Chad Borja’s “Ikaw Lang,” alongside special guest Inday Fatima. The theater then roared with excitement as Vibe Jock Joao brought nostalgia to the stage with VST & Co.’s “Ikaw Lang Ang Aking Mahal.” Meanwhile, Gen V’s Adam, Niko, Gab, Mark Ian, and Vibe Jock Kych melted hearts with their version of April Boy Regino’s “Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Mamahalin.”
Adding more flair to the night, Vibe Jock Ryle performed Ogie Alcasid’s “Ikaw Sana,” and wrapping up the “IKAW” opening number were Eliza Maturan and Icebox, performing their hit “Ikaw, Ikaw, Ikaw,” which recently entered The Main VIBE chart.
It was also a night of celebration as the show marked the birthdays of Vibe Jock Queenay and Gen V’s Niko, both expressing gratitude to their fans, families, and supporters — and wishing for VIBE’s continued success in bringing OPM closer to the people.

The excitement continued as the official voting for the 38th Awit Awards powered by VIBE opened. Fans can now cast their votes for their favorite OPM artists and songs at vibeph.tv!
Kicking off the celebration was Hey June!, the 36th Awit Awards People’s Voice Awardee for Breakthrough Artist, performing “Back to You.” The night’s Uprising segment featured Innervoices with their classic “Sayaw Sa Ilalim Ng Buwan,” marking a strong comeback after 36 years.
For the Main VIBE segment, Press Hit Play took center stage with their latest single “Lampara,” a tribute to the light that guides us — our family, friends, fans, and faith. The group also shared how music brought them back together after disbanding and expressed their gratitude for being nominated at this year’s Awit Awards.
Rock band Gracenote kept the adrenaline high with their new hit “Wasabi (Halmanataki).” Vocalist Eunice shared, “This song is for those who fell in love without warning — when the right person suddenly comes into your life and leaves you speechless.”
Closing the night with timeless OPM vibes, Marco Sison performed his classics “My Love Will See You Through” and “Si Aida, Si Lorna, O Si Fe.” He shared a smile with the crowd, saying, “This song has become even bigger today — it hits differently now.”
