Even as the mystery-thriller series The Secrets of Hotel 88 continues to air on free TV and iWant, ABS-CBN Studios and GMA Network appear to be gearing up for another joint project.
According to reports, the upcoming collaboration may star award-winning actress-singer Sharon Cuneta alongside another major Kapuso artist yet to be named. Industry insiders suggest the project could air on GMA-7’s primetime block later this year.
If confirmed, this would mark the seventh collaboration between the two former rivals, following hits such as Unbreak My Heart, the first two seasons of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0, the airing of ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime on GMA-7, and the blockbuster film Hello, Love, Again, currently the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.
