Ricky Vargas has officially assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MediaQuest Holdings.
The appointment was formally confirmed on Friday, March 27.
As the new head of MediaQuest Holdings, Vargas will lead the company’s strategic direction and oversee its overall operations. The company manages several key media assets, including free-to-air channels TV5 and RPTV, pay TV operator Cignal, and film and television production arm MQuest Ventures.
He will also be responsible for supervising the company’s financial performance.
Vargas succeeds telecommunications executive Jane Jimenez-Basas, who quietly stepped down from MediaQuest Holdings in January.
